428. SALARY/BENEFITS DETERMINATION
1.
Purpose
A salary schedule and fringe benefits for professional employees of the district shall
be established.
2.
Authority

The salary schedule approved by the Board shall provide for determination of
beginning salaries for new and inexperienced employees, beginning salaries for
experienced employees who are new to the district, and salary adjustments that result
from earning advanced degrees while employed by the district or required under law.
Salary schedules shall be in accordance with those specified in the collective
bargaining agreement and as approved by the Board.
Fringe benefits shall be provided to professional employees in accordance with the
collective bargaining agreement.

The Superintendent is authorized to credit past experience of an applicant for
determination of salary.
